|6||small tart baking apples|
|2||tablespoons butter, softened|
|1/4||cup Sugar In The Raw®, divided|
|1 ½||teaspoons ground cinnamon|
|2||tablespoons chopped raisins|
|2||tablespoons chopped walnuts|
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Wash and core apples, leaving a bit of the core in the bottom to act as a plug. Place apples in a small baking dish. Blend 3 tablespoons Sugar In The Raw® with the butter and cinnamon. Fill each apple with the mixture. Top with chopped raisins and walnuts. Sprinkle remaining Sugar In The Raw® over the apples. Pour ¾ cup water in baking dish.
Cover loosely with foil and bake for 30-40 minutes or until apples are fork-tender. Approximately 10 minutes before apples are done, remove foil and baste apples with pan juices. Return to oven to finish baking.
