Agave In The Raw | Serves 1


1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (1 large lemon)
3/4 cup hot water
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
2 tablespoons Agave In The Raw®
1 ounce Scotch whiskey or golden or dark rum
1 thin lemon slice, optional, for garnish


In a mug, combine the lemon juice, hot water, and cayenne. Add the Agave In The Raw®, stirring until it dissolves. Add the Scotch or rum, if using. If desired, garnish by setting the lemon slice on the hot liquid so it floats. Serve hot.

    Yum!!! I don’t have a cold or the flu, but this sounds delicious on a cold night, not to mention very preventative because of the vitamin c and cayenne.
