Homemade S’Mores Hot Cocoa
|2||tablespoons Sugar In The Raw®|
|2||tablespoons natural unsweetened cocoa powder|
|1||ounce good quality dark (60-65 percent) chocolate, chopped|
|1||cup reduced-fat (2 percent) milk|
|2||marshmallows, halved crosswise|
|1||reduced-fat cinnamon graham cracker, halved lengthwise, for garnish|
Place the Sugar In The Raw®, cocoa powder, chocolate, and 1/4 cup of the milk in a small saucepan. Set the pot over medium heat and cook, stirring with a wooden spoon, until the mixture is smooth, about 4 minutes. Do not let it boil. Add the remaining milk and cook, stirring, until it is hot. Pour the hot chocolate into a mug, preferably clear glass. Add the marshmallows. Add the graham cracker as a stirrer or alongside the hot chocolate.
