Chocolate Halloween Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup butter, melted (or neutral oil)
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup Stevia In The Raw
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 11oz container vanilla frosting
- Orange food coloring
Preparation
- Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8-inch cake pan (or line a cupcake tin).
- Step 2
Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
- Step 3
In another bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, Stevia In The Raw, and vanilla until smooth.
- Step 4
Fold wet ingredients into dry until just combined. Pour into pan.
- Step 5
Bake 20–25 minutes (cupcakes ~18 min), until toothpick comes out clean. Cool fully.
- Step 6
Beat frosting until creamy. Add desired amount of orange food coloring and continue to whip until it’s fully incorporated.
- Step 7
Frost cake/cupcakes and finish with sprinkles if using.
