Pistachio Pizza Slice

Ingredients
Dough
- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade), room temperature
Pistachio Cream
- ½ cup shelled pistachios (unsalted)
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2–3 tbsp Sugar In The Raw (to taste)
- Pinch of salt
Toppings
- 6–8 oz fresh mozzarella, torn or sliced
- ¼ cup chopped pistachios
Optional finishes:
- Powdered sugar
- Honey In The Raw or Agave In The Raw drizzle

- Orange zest
Preparation
- Step 1
Make the pistachio cream:
- In a food processor, blend pistachios until finely ground.
- Add cream, olive oil, sugar, and salt.
- Blend until smooth and spreadable. Taste and adjust sweetness.
- Step 2
Prep the oven:
- Preheat oven to 475–500°F (or as hot as your oven goes).
- Place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
- Step 3
Shape the dough:
- Stretch dough into a 10–12 inch round on parchment paper.
- Step 4
Assemble:
- Spread pistachio cream evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
- Top with mozzarella.
- Step 5
Bake:
- Transfer pizza (on parchment) to the hot stone or pan.
- Bake 8–12 minutes, until crust is puffed and golden and cheese is just melted.
- Step 6
Finish
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
- Finish with powdered sugar, a drizzle of honey/agave, or dollops of ricotta if desired.
- Step 7
Serve:
- Slice and serve warm.
