Organic Cane Sugar

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup whole wheat flour (or all-purpose)
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup nut or seed butter (e.g. almond, peanut, or sunflower)
  • ⅓ cup Organic White Sugar In The Raw
  • 1 egg (or flax egg for vegan)
  • ½ cup mix-ins (e.g. raisins, chocolate chips, sunflower seeds)
  • Optional: cinnamon, salt

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.

  2. Step 2

    In a bowl, mix all ingredients until combined.

  3. Step 3

    Scoop into balls and flatten slightly on the tray.

  4. Step 4

    Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set.

  5. Step 5

    Cool and enjoy as a snack or lunchbox treat.
